   Community Fuel Delivery Co-ops

If you would like to start a Community Fuel Co-operative you can get advice by contacting me through the details on the contact page of this website. Cllr. Archie Dryburgh informs me that Canonbie has done this and he would be pleased to talk to anyone who would like to do the same. You can get a discount on your fuel delivery from major oil companies if there are more than 10 members. Please see the  model form below.

COMMUNITY FUEL COOPERATIVE

The Community of …………………….., have discussed with local oil suppliers a discount of between 0.5p and 1.5p per litre of oil if more than 10 residents want to be involved in the fuel cooperative in delivery of domestic oil.

This will reduce fuel costs for the supplier as well as the residents involved in the group.

It will mean involvement with this group for a minimum time (2 years)

If you would like to be involved please sign attached tear of slip and return to ………………………………………, of the …………………………………….  Community  Council/Group.
